We don’t have much in the way of mountains around Boston so this is the best you can get. A great century ride heading out through Lexington, Hanscom, Concord, and Stow then lots of great quiet roads (and elevation) on the Central Mass roads of Lancaster and Princeton.

The road coming up to the Wachusett climb is actually steeper than the climb itself, but save something in the tank for the 10%+ ramps heading up to the top. Snap a pic at the summit and descend, then head back through Sterling to make it home before dark.
